15 awesome uses for aluminum foil
Here are two examples…  1. When my scissors get dull, I layer about 7 pieces of foil and cut through them, and the scissors are sharp once again 7. Wrap your hardware and doorknobs in foil so that they don’t get dripped on when you are painting. Source: DIY Life

Mystery illness strikes after meteorite hits...
So this rock falls from the sky near a remote village in Peru. Shortly afterwards, a strange smell wafts into town and residents start becoming sick; massive headaches and vomiting. Officials who were sent to investigate also became ill, having to receive oxygen masks and hospitalization. So, is this a strange space-based illness that has crashed on our little blue dot, or is there a more...

絶叫戦士 サケブレイン →
Imagine a Nintendo DS game where you don’t use the buttons, and you don’t use the touch-screen. The game is played with the microphone alone. Each player assumes the role of a superhero (think Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) who fights on a team. To fight, the player must shout the name of the attack. Group attacks can be unleashed when everyone in the group shouts the same attack, at...

Vinyl Data
If you were around in the early days of home computers, chances are you loaded your programs by use of a cassette. Programs were saved as audio recordings on tape. The computer would ‘listen’ to the program and run it. Not only could programs be stored on cassette, but some enterprising musicians hid programs on their vinyl albums albums as well! Thanks Echo!

Does having a UMPC do away with the need for a...
Some people have noticed that using an Ultra-Mobile PC means they do less on their smartphone. All day long within an arm’s reach, I have access to everything I need with the UMPC running Vista and supporting applications. I have eReader installed on the Q1P, which is why I alluded to not needing it on my smartphone. Let’s think about this for a second. My UMPC has an extended battery,...

Palm: Stop Missing Obvious Opportunities I spent a chunk of my professional career working on turnarounds. Thus, I always find it interesting to look at companies which are in turnaround situations. Palm, obviously, is. What’s incredible to me is how Palm keeps missing opportunities to provide real value to its customers. Take the example of 2 services that have become popular in the last 3-4...
